The Great Bellsure Bake Off
On the 26th of September, Bellsure hosted a Macmillan Coffee Morning to raise funds for this great charity. Firstly, everyone donated their baked goods – we had everything from chocolate cupcakes, millionaire’s shortbread to avocado chocolate chip loaf and we hosted our Bellsure Bake Off in the morning. The Bake Off was judged by Bliss Christopher-Brearley, Ellis Harrington and August An. This was a close contest with lots of great bakes but after much decision, the prizes went to:
Best Baker went to Lucy Ogg, who won with her Millionaire’s Shortbread. She received the prize of Jamie Oliver’s VEG cookbook and a pair of Good Housekeeping oven gloves.
Best Faker went to Katerina Williams, who won with her Ogg’s Vegan Lemon Cake . She received the prize of a box of Lindt chocolates.
Wooden Spoon went to Maria Schillemore with her M&S Victoria Sponge. She received the prize of 3 wooden spoons.
Then between 10.30am and 11.30am, we hosted our neighbours Drainfast who came and joined us for our coffee morning and helped us raise £183.00.
Thanks to everyone who came and supported us, who baked, who donated. Everyone’s efforts are much appreciated.
